Lead by the ferocious Don Alejandro Fernando Rodrigez Martinez Da Silva Lopez Amigo Muchacho Karamba Ole Signor el Capitano Ardente, this Antwerp based, hard ass stoned, cock rock punk and funk five piece band, Aguardente, started in 2007.

Since we never tried too hard to do anything but snort coke, eat burgers, drink beers and break guitar strings, today - 8 years later we are still called Aguardente, and we still play the same crappy songs we did on our first album. But considering the mental behavior of our audience during or show - we clearly don't need any more that that.

And it is this joyful "If it's not fun - whats the point?" attitude that creates the atmosphere of freedom and let it hang out behavior of our fans. And for this we are truly grateful.

The band is named after a Portuguese high spirit, vitamin rich, milk based beverage traditionally used for detoxification of ones ears after a long day of wife's nagging.

Aguardente means Fire Water, and it accurately reflects the power and flow of our sound.

A true band of the world, consisting of Belgian, Portuguese, Argentinian and Serbian members.

An early decision was made to not sing about politics or social issues, as the band felt there are too many angry bands out there, so we went for the more fun part of life, girls, booze and rock n roll.
